Description by OLDIES.com:
Rugged leading man Jack Holt garnered early career success in a series of Zane Grey westerns. A top draw during the silent film era, Holt made an easy transition when talkies arrived, but stayed in familiar territory, acting mainly in B westerns and adventure yarns.

Keeps you at the edge of your seat. This guy is Tough and will take anyone on and live thru it. If you watch the movie he even walks like a tough guy. These so called tough guys of today could learn something from this guy !!
Great story, full of action and the transfer was great.Picture is very clear and made you feel like you where "right there" even in black and white. If you love gangsters, lots of fist fights and lots of action this is the one for you.Love these cliffhangers. One great thing about them too,is you can watch one chapter at a time, makes it seem like it goes on forever, with so many thrills and excitment.Like getting more then just one movie, then its over, where with these cliffhangers you can either watch one chapter each day or more.I loved it
I was intrigued by this for 2 reasons ... a) not many B stars have their names in the title of their films, b) Jack Holt is Tim Holt's (Treasure of the Sierra Madre/Magnificent Ambersons) dad !!!. I wasn't expecting too much but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. A reasonable budget and script, competent performances (especially from Jack and serial veteran Tris Coffin) and a high quota of well-staged action scenes left me wanting more of the same. Some serials, when viewed in one sitting as I viewed (yes, I am that sad) this can become repetitive, but not here here. The DVD loses a star because the picture is often quite dark but the sound is good and viewing pleasure doesn't suffer too much. Recommended.
