Description by

Escorting a shipment of gold through the lawless plains proves a dangerous job for famous frontiersman Kit Carson in this thrilling twelve episode serial. Following an ambush on their convoy, Carson's friend Matt Fargo has hidden the gold, but fur trader Cyrus Kraft and his hooded Mystery Riders will stop at nothing to gain possession of the treasure. Carson is equally determined to keep the gold out of their hands, and with the help of Indian warrior Nakomas, Fargo's beautiful daughter Joan, and wagoneer Jim Bridge, he sets out to thwart the plans of the shadowy syndicate.

Future Rough Rider and top western draw Johnny Mack Brown stars as American folk hero Kit Carson, and character actor Noah Beery, older brother of Oscar winner Wallace Beery, appears as Cyrus Kraft. Betsy King Ross, the world's youngest "trick rider," made her mark in films two years later when she co-starred with Gene Autry in the ground-breaking serial, The Phantom Empire.
