Description by OLDIES.com:

Maximo Toro is a bull-headed revolutionary general hell bent on taking over the Republic of Hondo Rico, a small Caribbean island low on wealth and weaponry. Taking full advantage of the fact that his gorgeous lover, Francoise, is Prime Minister Henri Degiere's daughter, Toro pretends he's holding her hostage in his undisclosed location and threatens Degiere with her death unless he sends an arsenal of rifles. Degiere agrees to accommodate Toro in order to rescue Francoise. When Degiere's scheme is foiled, he turns to Texan millionaire Axel "Longhorn" Gates, who comes up with a more enchanting plan to bring Toro down - an "invasion" of beautiful women in army jeeps.

Former child star Jackie Coogan made his cinematic mark on the silent screen in Charlie Chaplin's The Kid (1921). After a considerable hiatus from acting, he landed a few TV roles, eventually playing Uncle Fester in The Addams Family (1964). Robert Lowery was a skilled baseball and football player before he arrived in Hollywood. He started out in the film business taking on a number of uncredited roles and later appeared in more significant movies such as The Mark of Zorro (1940). His extensive career included starring in the serial Batman and Robin (1949) and as "Big" Tim Champion on TV's "Circus Boy." Marvin Miller began in show business as a radio announcer in Chicago and went on to become a film and TV actor; he was regularly seen on The Millionaire (1955) and heard on dozens of animated and foreign films.
