If you go into Outlaws expecting a polished and inoffensive ride then think again because this is brutal stuff designed to appeal on a primal level, which it does very well.

Without that nuance to rip their wounds open, though, it's tough thinking anyone but hard-drinking criminals already in an MC to crack skulls will find much appeal.

An amateur attempt at making a gritty, testosterone-infused thriller that ultimately implodes because of how serious it wants to be considered.

Outlaws is kind of like a modern-day interpretation of Macbeth that involves an Australian motorcycle gang ... The movie also ... is quite dumb.

Description by OLDIES.com:
Outlaws debuted on NBC September 29, 1960. This unique hour-long TV Western told stories from the point of view of the outlaws themselves. The only recurring characters were lawmen Frank Caine (Barton MacLane), Will Foreman (Don Collier) and Heck Martin (Jock Gaynor). The outlaws were usually portrayed in a sympathetic light, and were played by different guest stars each week. This collection includes the debut episode, "Thirty a Month".
THIRTY A MONTH: Steve Forrest plays a rancher who cracks up after learning all his money was lost in a bank robbery. Now he's determined to get it back from the thieves – at any cost. Also guest-starring Robert Culp and Warren Oates.
BEAT THE DRUM SLOWLY: Vic Morrow and Dean Jones are two brothers swindled out of nearly $3,500 by a crooked casino owner. They join forces with an eccentric former judge (played by Ray Walston) to take revenge – but they didn't bet on their new partner having a murderous streak.
