A trip to Paris has been long in the making for Sergeant Stanley Gilchrist and his army buddy Hank, who are stationed in Milan. But when Stanley requests a furlough from his tyrannical colonel, he's assigned to London instead to deliver a top-secret document. Undaunted, Stanley and Hank sneak in a brief stay in the City of Lights. Their holiday turns into a nightmare when the bag containing the secret documents disappears.
Richard Ney was primarily a TV actor, but he also appeared in notable films such as Mrs. Miniver (1942) as well as Midnight Lace (1960) with Doris Day. Actress Janis Carter enjoyed a brief stint on Broadway before embarking on a Hollywood career, where she starred in Her Forbidden Past (1951) with Robert Mitchum, Santa Fe (1951) alongside Randolph Scott and Flying Leathernecks (1951) with John Wayne. British-born director Roy Rich started out as a repertory-theater actor before taking on radio in the late 1930s as an announcer for the BBC. His career consisited mainly of TV work in the 1950s.
