Description by OLDIES.com:

Ursula Andress plays Michelle Norton, the bored, sex-starved owner of an out-of-the-way motel near the U.S. border. Excitement suddenly arrives in the form of Floyd Gambino, a handsome jewel thief on the run from the police. The two strangers, long accustomed to a life of solitude, find solace in one another and make love with wild abandon. Ecstasy is rudely interrupted when Floyd's old partner Joe shows up at the motel looking for his share of the take from their last robbery. Wanting to use the stolen jewels to start a new life together, Michelle and Floyd try to make a run for it across the border. But with both Joe and the police hot on their tail, the couple's intended escape can only end in blood and tragedy.

Loosely based on the novel L'ultima chance by Franco Enna, Stateline Motel is an Italian crime picture done in the style of a classic American film noir from the 40s and 50s...with much more graphic sex and violence, of course. Ursula Andress is immortalized as the original "Bond girl", coming out of the ocean in her white bikini in Dr. No (1962). She became involved with handsome Italian leading man Fabio Testi during filming. Stage and screen star Eli Wallach is considered one of the greatest character actors of all time. Some of his unforgettable roles include Baby Doll (1956), The Magnificent Seven (1960), The Misfits (1961), and The Good, The Bad and the Ugly (1966). Barbara Bach was also a Bond girl in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), and is the wife of Beatles drummer Ringo Starr. Stateline Motel is distinguished by a score by Luis Bacalov, an Academy Award winner for Il postino (1994). Alternate release titles include Last Chance Motel and Last Chance for a Born Loser. Contains graphic sex, violence, and nudity.
