Description by

Police motorcycle patrolman Tom Malone dies after he is deliberately run off the road by a wealthy playboy on a high-speed joyride. Officer Malone's best pal and fellow policeman, Tom Burke (Monte Blue), looks for justice to avenge his fallen comrade's murder but is stymied by a corrupt court system, a town populated by crooked politicos and smart money "sophisticates" who are running an illegal gambling operation.

This charming story of friendship, devotion to duty and a search for the truth is notable for the appearance of a pre-teen Mickey Rooney (billed as Mickey McGuire) as Buddy Malone, the slain policeman's only child.

Product Description:

A young woman seaching for excitement in her life gets more than what she bargained for. She ends up in the middle of a gangland battle that erupts after a staunchly moral motorcycle cop tries to prosecute the perpetrator of a mob hit on his partner.

Cop-buddy story Officer 13 Movie Lover: from Pittsburgh, PA US -- January, 31, 2006

Mildly interesting film about a policeman avenging his motorcycle cop buddy who was ruthlessly mowed down by an arrogant playboy in his roadster. The rich people are depicted as absolutely disgusting - contemptuously dismissive of the plight of the dying cop and his family, the ingenue's girlfriend even amused to the point of laughing about her friend being in trouble for accompanying a guy who killed a police officer.

Mickey (McGuire) Rooney was much less overwrought than his usual amped acting style as the young son of the slain cop in the film.
