Breathtaking performances - shot in close-up - of songs like "One More Cup of Coffee", "Hurricane", and "Romance in Durango" are padded by moments of joy and heartbreak.

[T]he Rolling Thunder Revue rejuvenated Dylan as a musician....And it generated enormous amounts of tour footage, some of which is reproduced here, within a highly conceptual framework, by Scorsese.

Product Description:
In 1975, nine years after his motorcycle crash, Bob Dylan decided that he wanted to tour again. This time, however, he didn't want to deal with huge crowds, the press, and ultimately, his own stardom. Thus, the Rolling Thunder Revue was born - a 57-date concert tour whose publicity is limited to flyers given on the same day of the concert and whose shows were held in small, intimate concert halls. This documentary navigates through this tour's story, coloring it with actual performances from Dylan and other musicians on the tour. Directed by Martin Scorsese.
