Description by OLDIES.com:
Soundstage Performances consists of a unique compilation of 3 completely different Doors performances at 3 distinct stages of their career, from 1967 to 1969. The majority of the material on this program has never been seen before. Commentary is provided by the 3 surviving members of The Doors: Robby Krieger, John Densmore, and Ray Manzarek.
No One Here Gets Out Alive features performance clips of the classic band and their charismatic lead singer, along with exclusive interviews with the surviving members of The Doors.
Product Description:
This collection features two documentaries on that quintessential 1960s rock band, The Doors. Based on the biography by Danny Sugerman and Jerry Hopkins, NO ONE HERE GETS OUT ALIVE utilizes concert clips and interviews with band members Robby Krieger, John Densmore, and Ray Manzarek to tell the story of The Doors' charismatic lead singer Jim Morrison. SOUNDSTAGE PERFORMANCES presents additional interview footage as well as 12 songs culled from three different television appearances during the years 1967-1969. Together, the two documentaries include live performances of classics such as "Touch Me," "The Changeling," "LA Woman," "The End," "Love Me Two Times," "When the Music's Over," and many more.
