Based on the long-running King Features comic strip by Lyman Young, the story starts with Tim Tyler coming to Africa in search of his father, a noted scientist who has gone to the gorilla country and turned up missing. Tim stows away on a river steamer and meets Lora Lacey, who is searching for "Spider" Webb, an ivory-safari robber and thief of a diamond. Lora and Tim pursue Webb, which leads them to Tim's captive father.
Product Description:
Frankie Thomas stars as Tim Tyler, a young man who takes a trip to Africa in search of his who has been missing since he left for Africa to to do research on a science project. Once there, Tim meets an intriguing young lady named Lora Lacey who is on a quest to find Spider Webb, an infamous criminal who has been a long-time rival of the Tyler family. Spider Webb framed Lora's brother for a diamond heist and she is there to get him off the hook. Tim's father eventually get killed by one of Spider's outlaws. This incident gives Tim and Lora common ground in their quest for vengeance.

If you don't know this one and hesitate for it, but do like a superior serial,THIS IS A GREAT ONE. They just were not done any better.
Great action, adventure, and characters, well filmed and scripted for lively story line.
Great Bad Guys led by Spider Webb. Tim Tyler, Great young Hero. Laura Lacy, what a perfect name for a very pretty heroine. The Ivory Patrol. Stahlwart mounted police type jungle patrol to gallop to the rescue. The Jungle Cruiser. Impressive armoured car stolen by the bad guys in their plans to gain great wealth in Ivory from the hidden place known as the Elephant's graveyard.Highest recommendation.
