Young Johnnie Douglas and Jim Handy are unlikely pals who part when Jim decides to run off to join the circus. Years later the circus returns Jim is a circus boss and John is the town Minister. When the lovely equestrian Polly tumbles and is injured while attempting a new stunt John takes her end to tend her. The town is upset though that their Minister has taken a circus girl into his home.
