In 1980s Newfoundland, a disenchanted teen (Ella Ballentine) struggles from bouts of anxiety as she faces her burgeoning womanhood. Her world seems so distinct from that of a disturbed and solitary man (Ryan McDonald), yet their paths collide in an unnerving way that reveals the dark underbelly of male-female relationships and the effects of social isolation.
