That The Adventures of Prince Achmed still survives is a work of wonder equivalent to any rare treasure which Aladdin could rub out of his lamp.

Beautiful as it all is, considerable dedication is required to sit through an hour of monotone, flat silhouette animation. It's rewarding -- but the reward is hard earned.
