Memphis Flyer
What makes GREEN ROOM more than just a giddy, gory slice of gonzo B-movie mayhem, however, is both its ace cast and the vise-tightening mastery of the man pulling the strings behind the camera. -- Grade: A-
Entertainment Weekly
3 stars out of 4 -- GREEN ROOM is a high-tension siege thriller spiced with black humor.
Rolling Stone
Rating: 3/5 --
It has an impressively nuanced script for the genre, with a rich vein of sarcasm and comedy running through the film.

One Room With A View
[T]he film has a smart grasp on the hand-to-mouth lifestyle of road dogs, and a stronger sense of the lingo and sweatbox atmosphere of divey punk bars. -- Grade: A-
A.V. Club
Rating: 8/10 --
Green Room is a survival thriller that understands the importance of constantly establishing the stakes, raising them higher, and letting people enjoy watching characters try to get out of the increasingly small corner they've put themselves in.

Way Too Indie
[D]emonically gripping....It's the latest tense, brutal genre triumph for writer-director Jeremy Saulnier...
Los Angeles Times
Product Description:
A down-on-their-luck punk band accept an offer to play a rural Oregon club before calling their failing tour quits. When they arrive at the venue, they're troubled by the large neo-Nazi presence, but go through with their set regardless. They retreat to the backstage room afterward, only to be greeted by the corpse of a young woman on the floor and the neo-Nazis standing above her. Fearful that the band will contact the authorities, the gang hold them hostage as their leader (Patrick Stewart) tries to think of a solution to this sticky situation. Soon, the bandmates are fighting for their lives as they attempt to escape the club. Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, and Alia Shawkat star in this violent cat-and-mouse thriller from BLUE RUIN director Jeremy Saulnier.
