Good alternate sides

Recommended, and this is not a criticism, but you need to take the "Greatest Hits" moniker with a bit of a grain of salt. This is valuable as it contains many great but not as successful recordings, by the group, instead of the wonderful but 'same old' Big Hits, mainly on Mercury Records. Some of these appear to be from The Platters' time with King Records. This group was very talented, of course, and adept and uptempo and 'jump' music, in addition to the more mellow sides they were most popular for. For this price it's a great way to hear alternative styles by The Platters.
