[I]ts content and execution are innocuous to the point of tedium, while the protagonist is no undervalued sweetie but the kind of grating personality that can clear a room.

Product Description:
This Canadian comedy is adapted from the 2003 novel of Michael Kun entitled The Locklear Letters. Written and directed by Scott Abramovitch, the film follows Sid Straw (Tony Hale), an average guy who doesn't have any online presence, much less any social media account. He is prompted to create a Facebook account when appointed as the co-chair of his college reunion committee. During his first foray into social media, he discovers the account of actress Elizabeth Banks, whom he claims was a friend back in college. His quest to get in touch with the celebrity online soon becomes an obsession.
