It is the story of John (Sam Trammell), Steve (Eddie Robinson), and Allen (Jerry Laurino) who want to join a popular fraternity at their school. The president of the fraternity persuades John and Allen to partake in a series of ugly games that aim to humiliate Steve, and eventually result in tragedy. Before FOLLOWERS, director Jonathan M. Flicker had been making educational movies about social situations commissioned by colleges and universities.
