Rating: 2.5/5 -- All the performers either overact laughably or underact to the point of just standing in place and speaking lines in a monotone. Full Review

Rating: 4/4 -- "Reefer Madness" is so outrageously over the top that it's tough to imagine it was taken seriously even in the 1930s. Full Review

Espers' 1936 film deserves its reputation as one of the most entertainingly bad movies ever made. Full Review

One of the most absurdly earnest exercises in paranoia you'll ever have the good fortune to see. Full Review

Perhaps the mother of all bad movies, however, the didactic film, unlike later stinkers, takes itself extremely seriously, seeing itself as an important instrument in the campaign against drugs. However, the film's ignorance is the audience's bliss. Full Review

Description by OLDIES.com:

Introducing drive-in inspired entertainment: you bring the popcorn and we'll provide the rest! This is everything you'll need to bring back the nostalgia of drive-in theater when it was at it's very best, including two classic, drug exploitation films: The Cocaine Fiends and Reefer Madness.

Also known as The Pace That Kills, The Cocaine Fiends was meant to scare America's youth away from experimenting with dangerous drugs. You'll see drug dealer Nick who, while on the run from the law, meets innocent young Jane and tricks her into becoming a drug addict with his special headache powders. In no time at all, small-town Jane and her naively innocent brother Eddie are both throwing their lives away as Cocaine Fiends!

Reefer Madness -- also known as Tell Your Children -- is a cautionary tale featuring fictionalized and highly-exaggerated takes on the use of marijuana. A group of drug dealers lead innocent teenagers into a life of addiction to reefer cigarettes by holding wild parties with dancing and jazz music! This amusing package opens on classic pre-show cartoon shorts, leading to commercials and concession ads, our two full-length features, intermission and even a note or two from the drive-in management. So sit back in the comfort of your home and enjoy your night in!
