Description by OLDIES.com:
Son of a British heavyweight boxing champ, leader of the British Invasion group the T-Bones, protege of Yardbirds manager Giorgio Gomelsky and entertainer to hundreds of thousands of people at both the 1969 and 1970 Isle of Wight festivals, Gary Farr had seen the music biz from top to bottom by the time he signed with Atlantic and released this 1973 album, his third solo release. By this time, Farr had settled on a moody, singer-songwriter approach reminiscent of Tim Hardin, but once co-producer Jerry Wexler brought him down to Muscle Shoals to record with the studio's Barry Beckett, Pete Carr, Roger Hawkins, etc., a little more soul and even Tex-Mex entered into Farr's whimsical, wistful songs.
