The 2013 mini-box set Original Album Classics does not contain every one of Dave Edmunds' great albums -- there is no Get It, no Tracks on Wax 4, no Repeat When Necessary (nothing from Swan Song, in other words) -- but it does offer good and great records from throughout his career. Subtle as a Flying Mallet, D.E. 7th, I Hear You Rockin' Live, Information, and Riff Raff are all here, and while the latter two are a little hidebound to their Jeff Lynne production, they're enjoyable, while the first two range from great to very good.
