Juri and Secareanu also try to make their budding relationship a kind of possession which threatens to engulf one or both of them, but Garai, who also wrote, just doesn't give them enough of a foundation to truly evoke much of a reaction.

Product Description:
Writer-director Romola Garai's debut horror film stars Imelda Staunton, Carla Juri, Alec Secareanu, and Angeliki Papoulia. A strange English young woman and her abusive, terminally ill mother take in a PTSD-afflicted European war refugee after his makeshift home is burnt down. As he helps them to repair their decaying and dilapidated mansion, he begins to suspect that dark and mysterious forces are at work there.
