If Saint-Exupéry offered readers a petite, queer-tasting square of some delicate cake they'd never heard of, Netflix has served up a familiar, fragrant, well-balanced meal. Full Review

[With] beautifully textured stop-motion frames that hold every bend of shadow and light in their crinkled, papery folds. -- Grade: B+

The beauty of the images of the Saint-Exupéry story and the music composed by Hans Zimmer make it very worthwhile. [Full Review in Spanish] Full Review

The Little Prince is a beautiful blend of a classic story and a new, compelling one...stars hang from threads, and you can almost hear them laughing. Full Review

A good example of a good kids' movie, but the segments that truly capture the source material are absolutely extraordinary. Full Review

Product Description:

A young girl (voice of Mackenzie Foy) strikes up a friendship with her neighbor, an eccentric aviator (Jeff Bridges) who tells her stories about a prince from a far-away asteroid whom he once met in the desert. These tales also include the prince's adventures across the cosmos and on Earth, as he encounters talking animals, a foolish businessman, and a monarch with no subjects. Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Benicio Del Toro, Albert Brooks, Paul Rudd, James Franco, Ricky Gervais, and Paul Giamatti also lend their voices to this animated adaptation of the beloved illustrated novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, which uses CGI for the scenes in the little girl's world and stop-motion animation for the prince's tales. Directed by Mark Osborne (KUNG FU PANDA).
