Product Description:
In 1930s Ukraine, young lovers Yuri (Max Irons) and Natalka (Samantha Barks) struggle to survive a widespread famine known as the Holodomor, which was engineered by the Soviet Union in order to crush Ukrainian nationalism. In time, Yuri's horror over the scale of the tragedy inspires him to fight for Ukraine's independence. Barry Pepper, Tamer Hassan, and Terence Stamp co-star in this historical drama from director George Mendeluk.
