Description by OLDIES.com:

Originally titled The Last Original 'B' Movie aka Super Cool, this, an intriguing, exciting, and colorful installment in the Steckler chronicles, pits a ruthless dope ring leader against a sexy cat burglar (Brandt) who's ripped him off. It's up to a Humphrey Bogart worshipping private eye named Charlie Smith to find her before the drug boss puts her to sleep for good. Charlie falls under the spell of the femme fatale as they plan a double cross against the seedy and cold-blooded gangsters.

Product Description:

Ray Dennis Steckler has become a cult hero in retrospect because of his efficient and effective low budget filmmaking. In BODY FEVER, Steckler plays a detective hired to track a female burglar (Carloyn Brandt, Steckler's wife and partner in crime) who's stolen a package from a powerful drug dealer. But when he finds her, she seduces him into double crossing the gangsters and escaping with her. Steckler combines the narrative twists and conventions of the classic film noir with low budget improvisation and a self-aware humor to make BODY FEVER his best known and most appreciated film.
