Rafael Kubelik: Music is My Country

A celebrated violinist who began studying music in Prague, Rafael Kubelik showed signs of his incredible talent from a very young age. With the help of his father, who encouraged his son to pursue a career in music, Kubelik began tackling some prestigious works (Dvorak and Mozart were two of the composers that the young Kubelik was soon emulating) in his quest to be regarded as one of the all-time greats. This documentary offers a fascinating look at his life, and includes some of the wonderful music he continued producing right up to his death in 1986.
