The Spanish vocal and instrumental ensemble Los Espanoles reached a remarkable popularity through outstanding performances in several European countries throughout the late 1950's and early 1960's, especially in France, the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden. Artists of a unique range, they built up -without ever losing their typical Spanish character- a repertoire of international hits and folk tunes, adapting them to a new and essentially personal style that can be felt in their interpretations, but always conserving at the same time their inherent beauty. Los Espanoles, a group of five gifted musicians, Manuel "Lito" Perez, Jose Luis Manoz, Marcelino "Condelas" Lopez from La Coruna, Miguel Laiz from Leon and Antonio Moldes from Pontevedra, in Northwestern Spain, sing and accompany themselves instrumentally.
