Trains Classics of Steam: Titans of Steam

For almost 40 years, the "Big Four" railway companies and British Rail turned out hundreds of powerful locomotives. To this day, the Mighty Pacifics of the Southern Railway still work on lines such as the Great Central, North Yorkshire Moors and Swanage Railways.

The magnificent workhorses of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway steam, while engines such as "The Flying Scotsman" still ride the London and North Eastern Railway. These engines have not only survived, but have found a new lease of life on the preserved railways of Britain.
