Beta is avant-glorious! Psicosfera fully embrace a nightmarish aesthetic with a deluge of harrowing riffs, eerie melodics and engulfing umbral atmosphere. This album both challenges and entertains, the trve avant-garde metal experience. Avantgarde is pretty much on fire this year with consistent quality releases, and this is no exception. Very good musicianship and interesting compositions permeate this album. Creepy as hell, atmospheric black metal with extraordinary drumming punctuated by streaks of genuinely melodic and energetic black metal. Has a nasty post-Black arrogance about it that compels me to listen.
