When novelist Robert (Nathan Fillion) and his wife move to a small town, they hope for a peaceful existence miles away from the dangers of the big city life they had been living. Instead, Robert finds that corruption and dirty secrets are even closer to the surface, and that it's very easy to get mixed up in them.
