Rating: 1/5 -- Though under 90 minutes, the whole frantically zany affair seems to last at least eight days. It might help to have a bottle of Manischewitz handy. Full Review

The result is late Woody Allen, when early might have done the trick. Full Review

Rating: 2.5/4 -- It's a bit too broad at times, and the outrageousness of the stereotypes are often so over the top as to be silly rather than truly funny, but there's a certain charm about it that is hard to resist. Full Review

Rating: 1/4 -- Among gay Jewish French postman movies, "Let My People Go!" may be a Hall of Fame entry, but alas, by any other standard this would-be sex comedy is a dismal failure. Full Review

Product Description:

Director Mikael Buch playfully confronts Jewish and gay stereotypes in this comedy featuring Carmen Maura, Jean-François Stévenin, and Nicolas Maury. Ruben (Maury) is a gay French-Jewish postman with an MA in Comparative Sauna Cultures who resides in Finland with an impossibly handsome Nordic boyfriend. As Passover approaches, however, a romantic falling out and a series of misunderstandings find the lovelorn Ruben returning to Paris and the company of his eccentric family just when his life seemed to be finally coming together.
