Beasts of Paradise Gathered on the Edge

For their first full-length album "Gathered on the Edge", Beasts of Paradise have streamlined their line-up; the core focuses on the dynamics generated by harpist Barbara Imhoff, didgeridoo master Stephen Kent and vocalist Eda Maxym, while acoustic bassist Nancy Kaspar and percussionist Geoffrey Gordon anchor the Beasts' material with a mingling of world, trance and jazz rhythms. "Gathered on the Edge" was produced by Simon Tassano, noted for his live engineering work with Richard Thompson, Shawn Calvin and Lights In A Fat City.
