Far Out Magazine
4 stars out of 5 -- Rachel Weisz brings a barrelling energy to her performance as the academic who finds herself in the unaccustomed and decidedly uncomfortable position of having to let her legal team fight her battle for her.

Rating: 3/5 --
"Denial" accomplishes what it sets out to do, and that is to set facts straight and give agency to history, its survivors, and to those who perished because of its ruthlessness.

Its finest and most moving moments are when Lipstadt and Rampton go to Auschwitz on a research mission....A single animated flashback during the trial offers a jarring, visceral reminder of the atrocity Irving is trying to undermine.

Product Description:
After accusing fellow historian David Irving (Timothy Spall) of being a Holocaust denier, Deborah Lipstadt (Rachel Weisz) is sued for libel and forced to provide proof of her claims in court. Tom Wilkinson co-stars as her lawyer, Richard Rampton. Mick Jackson directed this docudrama, with David Hare penning the screenplay based on Lipstadt's 2005 account of the trial.
