Marlin Greene's most notable work is as the co-producer and lead guitarist of Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman." He also sang some smooth teen pop for RCA and Philips in the early 1960s, and he grew into this finely crafted, meditative but upbeat material a few years later. This is a long-awaited CD debut for what will stand as an early-'70s classic.
