2008 album from the Jazz vocalist, her first album in three years. Francesca Sortino is principally a jazz singer, but for the creation of this album, she decided to take the option of fusing her identity with Pop music. She was inspired by the most important artists of her adolescence like Burt Bacharach, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and the music of the '70s, The Music I Play is the fruit of teamwork with arrangers Dario Rosciglione and Enrico Solazzo. From a vocal point of view Francesca Sortino's main influences are Elis Regina, Billie Holiday and Maria Callas.
