UK four CD anthology from the British blue-eyed soul vocalist. Paul Young is one of the greatest curators of music, songwriters and interpreters to emerge from the UK over the past 30 years. Tomb Of Memories: The CBS Years (1982-1994) chronicles his storied recording career with CBS Records, from his phenomenal debut, No Parlez, through to 1993's The Crossing. Across the four discs, there are nine unreleased versions, eight tracks which are new to CD, and three songs which have never before been heard. The package also contains a 24 page booklet, complete with a foreword from Paul himself, alongside rare and unseen images, and a career-spanning retrospective essay, penned by music writer Daryl Easlea. This deluxe bookset is a celebration of his incredible career, providing a better understanding of the artist he strived to be. As Paul explains, listening to the album, "You realize that I was always trying to push the envelope and the record company were always trying to keep me on the straight and narrow. My spectrum of music has always been very wide."
