WWII Aviation: Green Devils - German Paratrooper Elite, 1942-1945

Due to Hitler's belief that the days of large paratrooper operations had passed, the Green Devils were transformed into an elite ground force taking part in the operations in North Africa, ITaly, and Normandy, and in the retreat back to Germany.

The paratrooper division of the Luftwaffe, known as the Green Devils, was an instrumental part of the German offensive, and was used throughout the entirety of the war. This documentary records the final days of their operations, tracing missions in East Prussia, North Africa, Italy, and Normandy. It also shows operations that found the paratroopers facing the Soviet T-34s using Panzerschreck antitank weapons, and defending the German borders during the first months of 1945.
