Product Description:

This second album from The Jellybeans goes far beyond what they did on their debut album, which was an album of children's songs. Recorded this past school year, while they were in the seventh grade, they built on what they did in the sixth grade in terms of songs, vocal style and production. The songs are very cool and very different from what you might expect girls their age to sing. It's rock-n-roll their way. Some songs on here are still for the younger set, but since the girls wanted to sing songs for kids their own ages (13) and up, they get to do just that with the last four songs on the album. The musicianship is first rate with the bass player from the Bruce Springsteen tribute band, The B Street Band, doing all the bass and guitar work as well as percussion. As pointed out by Andrea Guy of ReviewYou.com, 'these girls can really sing' and 'the group sounds professional and much older than their years.' By singing together since they were in the third grade, the girls have developed the ability to blend their voices into one beautiful sound and can easily handle the intricate melodies and rhythms of the songs on this album. Their first album got them onto Pandora Radio, on TV and in newspapers. They were also the youngest artists ever featured by The Independent Music Awards (IMAs) in an 'Artist Spotlight.' If you like the 'girl group sound,' you'll enjoy listening to The Jellybeans. Keep an eye on them; and both ears!
