What started as a side project in 2002 has become the only project as the idea of creating this album became more motivating. Incorporating drums, keys and guitars to create a crafted indie sound that tells the tale of familiar longing, The Whale's melodic nature will have you humming along after a single listen. Influenced by pop songwriters from the 60's to the present, Russian Trio creates the perfect companion to drving down the coast highway, jogging with your mp3 player or folding laundry.
