Product Description:

Chuck Kirkpatrick's second album, 'Keep On Walkin'' is released. Kirkpatrick's credits are numerous for his work on both sides of the studio control room window with groups like The Bee Gees, Derek and the Dominoes, Brian Wilson, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, America, Eddie Money, Meatloaf, Peter Frampton, Firefall and numerous others. His work as a studio engineer earned him gold record status with the renowned "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" by Derek and the Dominoes as well as "Don't Play That Song" by Aretha, "You Can Do Magic" by America and "Rainy Night In Georgia" by Brook Benton. He played guitar and sang during the 80's with Atlantic Record's platinum rock band, Firefall. In addition, his stunning replication of the Beach Boys in his 1982 medley won him national attention and made him one of the most in-demand session singers in the Miami area. This current offering follows his Capitol Records album 'Crane', released in 1978, and remains true to Kirkpatrick's style of guitar-laden hooks and harmonies with songs ranging from straight-ahead rock to country to pop-jazz and even R&B. Kirkpatrick enlisted the help of his brother, Scott to produce the album. Aside from his contributions to the lyrics and arrangements, Scott's drumming breathes life into every song - an amazing feat in that both brothers live 3000 miles apart on separate coasts and never saw each other once during the making of this album. Such is the wonder of modern technology and the internet. So treat yourself to some Les Paul with a side of Stratocaster, some incredible vocal chops and feast on this meal prepared by Chuck Kirkpatrick.
