3.5 stars out of 4 -- [A]t its very best it captures Emily's mournful and loving good-bye to life, as well as her urgent reminder to try, try to 'realize life' while we live it.

"Wander Darkly" does allow for multiple readings, which is good, but at some point, viewers may become exhausted trying to delineate reality, and let the film just play out.

The film’s greatest strength is the pairing of Miller and Luna, an immensely charismatic duo who give Adrienne and Matteo’s relationship credibility...

Miele presents some interesting, insinuating imagery -- a sidewalk that morphs into a wave-lapped beach, a Day of the Dead dance popping up in the middle of an idyllic Saturday-in-the-park scene.
New York Times
Adrienne and Matteo are, even as insular indie couples go, poorly developed.

Alex Weston’s plinking piano score is a lovely, steady accompaniment to Carolina Costa’s dizzying cinematography which whisks from domestic to surrealistic in a blink.

Product Description:
Written and directed by Tara Miele, this drama follows Adrienne (Sienna Miller) as she seems to feel lost while existing in a disoriented space and time, but following her longtime partner Matteo (Diego Luna) as he undergoes the events that resulted from a tragic accident that happened prior. Adrienne finds herself in a kind of limbo as she tries to observe and understand from this detached viewpoint how her relationship with Diego has been unraveling for a while, seeing how he also deals with life as a young father to their baby daughter.
