Per its title, the epic-length 2011 documentary saga HITLER'S TWILIGHT: THE END OF NAZI GERMANY chronicles the final months of the Third Reich. The series actually incorporates three separate documentaries: THE ENEMY AT THE GATES deals with the tentative and fragile relationships that Hitler sustained wish a series of French generals; BATTLE FOR THE FATHERLAND explores the Nazis' role in The Battle of the Bulge; and THE RACE TO BERLIN chronicles the fatal Nazi defensive against one of the final Soviet military operations, which prompted the Russian invasion and takeover of Berlin.
