Product Description:

Violinist Ning Feng and cellist Qin Liwei, both internationally established Chinese soloists, came up with the idea of forming a string quartet after a series of concerts brought them together. The Dragon Quartet also features violinist Wang Xiaomao, concertmaster of China National Ballet Orchestra and Zheng Wenxiao, principal violist with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. The quartet's Channel Classics début features two monuments from the chamber repertoire - Schubert's ''Death and the Maiden'' and Dvorák's ''American'' String Quartet.
