Gene McDaniels is often forgotten today but in the early 1960's, Gene became one of the hottest acts in show business! He had hit after hit with songs like " A Hundred Pounds Of Clay" "Tower Of Strength" "Chip Chip" "Point Of No Return" and "Walk With A Winner!" Raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Gene grew up with a gospel and jazz background and had a very distinctive voice which was as clear as crystal! This cd set focuses on his early work that features standards and broadway tunes!
