Description by OLDIES.com:
In 1993 Pee Wee Ellis recorded his first jazz album "Twelve and more blues" in a trio setting, the format only the best tenor saxophone players dare to approach. His mentor Sonny Rollins was definitely pleased with Mr. Ellis'efforts and even more so the New York Times which selected the CD as one of the year's ten best jazz albums. Now the music is available again with more songs and alternate takes. It has aged as welll as good wine does.
