The fourth volume features Dope Head Blues by Victoria Spivey and 15 more classic blues songs by other great blues singers including Charley Patton, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Son House, Marshall Owens, Ma Rainey and others. This CD was packaged with the 2007 Classic Blues Artwork From The 1920s Calendar (BIM #207) which reproduced the artwork promoting these songs when they were first released. Miniature versions of the artwork are included on the CD's v-card. Four bonus songs are included without images, and all tracks are newly re-mastered from the finest copies of the original 78 rpm records.
