Product Description:
The Screen Edge label brings to this single-disc compilation two well-known and loved documentaries by editor-turned-director Steve Stevenson - both filmed in the early 1990s, and both on the subject of extreme sports. The first segment, 1993's 52-minute FEAR OF FALLING, explores extreme rock climbing - with speleologist Ben Moon climbing steep rock walls and descending through the bowels of the earth; the second, 1994's 52-minute WALK ON WATER, takes as its inspiration Andy Martin's "cult voyage" philosophy about surfing, and hones in on the science and technique of wave riding; it also features the late and ill-fated Mark Foo's final interview prior to his death at Mavericks, as well as appearances by numerous other surf legends.
