The New York Concert Review described his Carnegie Hall solo recital debut as featuring the "cleanest articulation and purest musicality listenable, bravura display of instrumental technique." His recent international solo appearances include the Orchester der Stadt Voecklabruck in Austria, the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Moscow Conservatory, the Hornclass and Ameropa festivals in the Czech Republic, and in South Africa at the Stellenbosch Conservatory and the University of Cape Town. Ji¡rí Havlík founded the Camerata Filarmonica Bohemia in 2002. Originally an ad-hoc group, the orchestra soon won respect for its original programming and performing qualities, which have earned it a distinct place on the Czech musical scene.
