Cameron and his fiancée Beth were driving cross country when they decided to rent a room at an out-of-the-way motel. A dark shadow is cast over their bright future as a family, however, when David leaves his wife alone in the room, and returns to find no trace of her. Meanwhile, Carol awakens in a tightly secured facility to the horrible realization that her child has been stolen, along with the children of six other women who have no memory of how they got there.
