So it was a fitting tribute to the production when the National Ballet of Canada took to the boards in that year for this lavish production. With Frank Augustyn and Karen Kain among the leads, this was a stunningly evocative rendition of the popular opera, which was thankfully captured on camera for posterity. An extremely proficient cast provide wonderful support to Augustyn and Kain, making this one of the greatest productions of "Giselle" ever performed.
