In the 1970s Jean-Pierre Ponnelle and Nikolaus Harnoncourt revived the work of Claudio Monteverdi, staging three of his operas in Zurich. This production of L'OREFEO was performed in February 1987 and features Philippe Huttenlocher, Dietlinde Turban, and Roland Hermann in lead roles.
